Only members of Lapada can exhibit their own works and products on sale, after having accepted the Association’s code of conduct. The articles on sale at the Lapada Art and Antiques Fair have prices ranging from 500 to 500,000 pounds. This fair is not only an interesting opportunity for lovers of antiques and furniture restoration but in general attracts many curious people, even if they are not experts in the sector, as one of the most important social events in the English capital.
LAPADA: SOME HISTORY
The main aim of the association and the fair has always been to support the art and antiques trade and this is why we at Stevens Furniture Restoration think it is particularly important to tell you about it. The symbol of the association and art and antiques dealers Lapada is a golden chandelier. This association was founded in 1974 and since then it has made a name for itself as the largest association in the sector in the United Kingdom, with more than 550 British and foreign members, including vendors of jewellery, silver, works of art, furniture restorers and antique furniture repair experts. When the symbol of the chandelier is displayed in a window or in a fair it is the sign recognizing that the dealer belongs to the group and of the relevant quality of the products on sale. Lapada is also mindful of the protection of purchasers and the public at fairs and this is why it has introduced a Code of conduct which all members must accept: the association was the first in the sector to do this.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
