Le Corbusier Desk Restoration

We had a Le Corbusier desk, which came into the studio for restoration.
It was found and shipped over from Chanigargh, India.
Le Corbusier and his cousin Pieree Jeanerett collaborated on only a few designs together, making this desk very rare.
There are many copies which bear similarities, however, not to their design.
The desk required extensive restoration, including new drawer fronts constructed from teak and also the door.
The top was completely stripped, bleached and re-finished.
Areas of veneer required replacing and balanced to the original.
