Upholstering Armchairs

These armchairs were for a interior design project in mayfair. The chairs required some restoration and the clients wanted the seats to be re-upholstered in their own choice of fabric. The ormolu brass was cleaned up using our own made up product. There were also sections of timber which needed minor restoration, we patched in small sections of walnut and used earth pigments to colour match to the original. The original top covers were removed and the new fabric was applied by our upholsterer. The upholstery was then finished off in a suitable trimming.
